Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center in Westwood, NJ is seeking a day shift, full-time Lead Clinical Educator Registered Nurse to lead nursing education and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. You will guide staff development and act as a clinical resource across the unit.

The role requires a Master’s degree, 5+ years of acute care experience, an NJ RN license (or compact), and BLS within 14 days of hire. ALS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in related field.
• 5+ years of recent acute care experience.
• Current NJ Professional Registered Nurse license or valid Compacted RN license.
• Specialty certification in clinical area, or must be attained within 9 months from hire date.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into role.

• Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.

Responsibilities

• The Clinical Educator RN Lead is responsible for ensuring that all nursing education meets applicable regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards of nursing practice in the State of New Jersey and within Pascack Valley Medical Center.
• This individual serves as a role model, clinical consultant and resource for employee development activities. Provides a healthy work environment for learning.

• Current NJProfessional Registered Nurse license or valid Compacted Registered Nurse license.
• Specialtycertification in clinical area.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Advanced Life Support(ALS) certification.

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
