Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or RN program completion.
• Experience in implementing and maintaining policy-driven practices; state/federal regulations a plus.
• Current and unrestricted RN licensure in state of practice; CPR (BLS) certification.
• Within six months of hire, completion of organizational training programs (IV Certification, Pain Management, Wound Care, Respiratory Care, and CCC Certification).

Responsibilities

• Coordinates clinical competency assessment and training needs of clinical staff.
• Provides relevant education on clinical skills, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
• Participates in interview and selection of clinical staff.
• Completes initial competency assessment during orientation and ongoing periods.
• Oversees preceptor program and trains staff to maintain organizational standards and procedures.
• Maintains documentation of partner education in accordance with regulations and policies.
• Promotes infection control and safety programs within the facility.
