PruittHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Educator to lead clinical competency programs and staff education. This role focuses on competency assessment, training delivery, and the development of clinical skills across units.

The educator will partner with nursing leadership to design orientation, preceptorship, and ongoing professional development, ensuring compliance with regulations and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• RN license in state of practice.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Experience in education and training preferred.
• Knowledge of infection control and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical competency assessment and training needs of staff.
• Deliver education on clinical skills, critical thinking, and teamwork.
• Participate in interview and selection of clinical staff.
• Complete initial competency assessments during orientation and annually.
• Oversee preceptor program and train preceptors.
