Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a skilled nursing leader to oversee the Resident Services team in an Alabama community. The role requires managing staff, developing service plans, and ensuring medication systems comply with state and federal guidelines.

You will lead training efforts and collaborate with families, physicians, and department heads to deliver high-quality resident care. The position involves budget responsibility, staffing coverage, and occasional driving as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed registered nurse or licensed practical nurse per state regulations.
• Experience in direct patient care and assessments/observation of clinical conditions.
• Experience recruiting, training and managing healthcare staff.
• Experience at a department head level in Assisted Living or related industry.
• CPR certification and knowledge of basic first aid.
• Must complete Atria Medication Management training and state required trainings.
• Flexible hours and driving responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, develop, and schedule the resident services staff.
• Establish and maintain a medication system compliant with laws and guidelines.
• Perform assessments and develop service plans for residents.
• Operate the Resident Services Department within budget and policies.
• Complete daily Quality Enhancement reviews for regulatory compliance.
• Act as a liaison for resident care issues with families and physicians.
• Provide training and orientation to new staff and ongoing education.
• Support leasing, sales processes with a positive image of Atria.
