Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Denver, CO seeks a Director of Nursing to oversee patient care, staff and CQI initiatives in a vascular access center. The role combines clinical leadership with operations, ensuring compliance with policies, HIPAA, and quality metrics.

You will supervise RNs and other staff, manage scheduling, training, and performance evaluations, and partner with physicians to optimize patient workflow.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years ASC/vascular access experience.
• Experience in Interventional Radiology and ICU/CCU preferred.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and medical databases.

Responsibilities

• Support CQI and regulatory requirements using CQI tools.
• Supervise facility staff to deliver safe vascular access procedures.
• Manage staffing and doctor/patient relations; ensure policy compliance.
• Oversee documentation of treatments and lab results.
• Assist Facility Manager with staff evaluations and training.
