The Nurse Coordinator at HCA HealthONE demonstrates advanced nursing knowledge and leads shift operations to ensure safe patient care in the Cath Lab. This role requires coordination of schedules, assignments and resources while maintaining the highest standards of practice.
Candidates must hold Colorado RN licensure, be Graduate of a certified School of Nursing, and have at least one year of Cath Lab staff nurse experience with charge nurse preferred.
Hourly Wage Estimate: $43.79 - $62.60 / hour
The Nurse Coordinator demonstrates advanced knowledge, skills and understands the unique aspects of the population served in the care of his/her patients. Each service also requires specialized skills. The delivery of care is based on the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety and learning needs of the individual patient. The Nurse Coordinator may rotate to areas other than his/her assigned service area/s, and will perform only those duties for which he/she has demonstrated competency. The Nurse Coordinator performs delegated duties consistent with the scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery at SMC. The Nurse Coordinator Role incorporates all of the RN position as above, and includes the additional responsibilities of directing shift operations with schedules, assignments and coordination of resources.
Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate nursing licensure.
Graduate of a certified School of Nursing.
Minimum of one+ year as staff nurse in Cath Lab required. Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
Demonstrates good clinical skills and leadership qualities. Demonstrates good organizational skills. Provides safe and appropriate patient care within the Standards of Nursing Practice at SMC. Displays appropriate judgment and problem solving skills. Communicates positively and professionally with all internal and external customers.
