Mercy is seeking an educational coordinator to support orientation, competency programs, and ongoing education for hospital colleagues. You will help manage in-service training, partner with academic programs, and guide staff through unit-level role transitions.

The role emphasizes clinical knowledge, organization, and effective use of educational technologies to improve patient care and staff development at Mercy facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with clinical experience required.
• Current license if required in discipline.
• BLS provider certification.
• Demonstrates evidence-based clinical knowledge.
• Ability to organize and multitask to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of patient care equipment and technology.

Responsibilities

• Support orientation, competency programs, and continuing education for Mercy coworkers.
• Assist with academic partnerships and role transition at unit level.
• Coordinate in-service education activities and training initiatives.
