Job summary

Mercy is seeking a nursing education professional to support orientation, competency programs, in-service education, continuing education, academic partnerships, career development and role transition at the unit level for Mercy coworkers.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, organization, and multitasking to meet project deadlines, with preferred certifications and potential teaching experience. Familiarity with medical equipment and AV setups is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required if attained; 2 years' clinical experience if Bachelor's level attained.
• If Associate's degree is the highest, 10 years hospital nursing experience or 5 years if enrolled in RN to BSN.
• Current state license if required; BLS provider.
• Demonstrates evidence-based practice and can influence patient care delivery.
• Ability to organize and multitask to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; audiovisual equipment knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with equipment/technology used in patient care.
