Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Clinical Educator to support orientation, competency programs, in-service education and ongoing professional development at the unit level. The role emphasizes clinical knowledge, teaching, and maintaining evidence-based practices to improve patient care.

The incumbent will coordinate training initiatives, leverage MS Office tools, and may use audiovisual equipment to deliver effective education. Certification in a specialty and teaching experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum required healthcare experience with patient care knowledge demonstrated.
• BLS provider certification and current state license if required.
• Evidence-based practice knowledge with credibility to influence care delivery.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Teaching experience and life-support certifications preferred.
