Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Formal medical careers program or enrollment in nursing school or two+ years in a Patient Care Associate/Nurse Assistant role.
• BLS certification from recognized bodies required before start date and valid for at least 60 days beyond start date.
• Preferred CNA certification.
• One-year prior work experience in a patient care environment.
• Healthcare process improvement and customer service experience in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs specific patient care interventions as delegated by the RN.
• Delivers compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and families.
• Provides physical support for daily activities and personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility).
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA and OSHA.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment and adheres to infection-control policies.
• Performs other related job duties as requested.
