Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking a full-time Nursing Assistant in Lapeer, Michigan. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, this role performs receptionist and secretarial duties while supporting the nursing staff with specific patient care tasks.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a high school diploma, and ideally BLS certification. The position entails working 72 hours bi-weekly, maintaining a safe and clean environment while ensuring patient dignity and privacy.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Nurse Aide training program or 6 months experience as a Nursing Assistant.
• Knowledge of keyboard/computer.
• Data entry experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs hourly rounding including: Pain, Position, Personal needs, and Possessions.
• Answers telephone/call lights and relays information to appropriate staff.
• Assists nursing staff with patient care duties.
