McLaren Health Care is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant for the 1 N Transitional Care unit. Schedule: Full-time, days, 6:30am–7:00pm, with a biweekly 72-hour schedule.

Position Summary:
Under the direction of a Licensed Nurse, supports the Nursing Staff by performing basic nursing care to the resident. Assist and maintains a safe and clean work environment. Maintains resident privacy, dignity, confidentiality, and respects resident’s rights.

Responsibilities:

1. Hourly Rounding including: Pain, Position, Personal needs, and Possessions

• Assist residents in and out of bed and into a wheelchair using the correct lifting and transferring technique.

3. Gives residents baths.

Required:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Successful completion of a Michigan State Certified Nurse Aide training program & current State of Michigan certification

· BLS Certification within 3 months of hire

Preferred:

• Previous experience as a Nurse Aide
