Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant at Boulder Park Terrace to work under the supervision of the team leader and RN, delivering compassionate patient care and supporting daily living activities.

You will perform vital sign checks, document care per facility guidelines, provide psychosocial support, assist with activities of daily living, and support the care plan and family communication. Full-time schedule is offered with day shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Certified as a Competency Evaluated Nurse Aide (CENA) in Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients with clinical competence and follow the care plan.
• Maintain vital signs and report changes to the RN promptly.
• Provide psychosocial support and assist with activities of daily living.
• Document care accurately according to facility guidelines.
• Perform other duties aligned with job purpose as directed.

Certified Nurse Assistant - Boulder Park Terrace

As directed by the team leader and the Registered Nurse and in partnership with the health care team and patient/ family, performs work processes to accomplish positive patient outcomes, and organizational goals. Provision of care focuses on psychosocial support and activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Cares for patients demonstrating clinical competence in implementing a plan of care. Maintains basic technician skills, such as obtaining vital signs. Reports observations, including any change in residents condition to Registered Nurse in a timely and accurate manner.
• Performs interventions to enhance psychosocial support. Assists residents to Activities.
• Provides/assists with care to support physical function for activities of daily living, such as toileting, bathing, feeding, and ambulation which allow residents to achieve their highest practical level of function.
• Documents according to facility guidelines to accurately reflect care provided immediately after performing procedure or task.
• Performs other duties consistent with purpose of job as directed.

Required

Preferred

• Prior experience in direct patient care
