Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Michigan is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents under nurse supervision. You will assist with daily activities, hygiene, and mobility.

This full-time role involves hand-on patient care in a structured schedule, with 6:00AM-2:30PM shifts and teamwork with a multidisciplinary staff in a hospital or care setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current State Certified Nursing Assistant certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Answers resident calls and determines how best to help them.
• Provides physical support for residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, using the toilet, walking, standing or exercising.
• Turns and repositions bedridden patients.
• Ensures residents receive appropriate diet by reviewing dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences.
• Delivers compassionate support, attention, and assistance to residents and families.
• Performs other related duties as required and directed.

Provides health care for residents under the direction of a nurse. Assists patients under their care with day-to-day tasks, playing a vital support role.
