Job summary

Southcoast Health in Wareham, MA is seeking a Per Diem Nurse Assistant to support patient care at Tobey Hospital. The role involves assisting with personal care, mobility, and nutritional support under supervision, helping licensed staff, and maintaining a safe, clean patient environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Nursing Assistant Training Program is suggested.
• Nursing Assistant Certification in Massachusetts or the equivalent.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or have an exemption with signed statement.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including personal hygiene and mobility.
• Assist licensed staff with related duties and maintain the patient environment.
• Support nutritional needs of patients and ensure comfort and safety.

We are searching for a talented Nurse Assistant

Hours:

Per Diem

Shift:

Flexible shifts & hours with weekend and holiday rotation; 7:00am - 7:30pm and 7:15pm - 7:15am; Schedule 48 hrs per 6-week schedule in which 16 hrs are on weekends. Schedule 1 major summer and 1 major winter holiday per the needs of the schedule.

Responsibilities

Under general supervision of individually assigned Manager, Patient Care Services or Designee, perform a variety of duties including basic care including personal hygiene, mobility, nutritional support, maintaining of patient environment, providing assistance to licensed staff in carrying out other related duties, etc.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Nursing Assistant Training Program is suggested.
• Equal to completion of four years of high school.
• Up to and including three months experience.
• Nursing Assistant Certification in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or the equivalent.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $19.56 - USD $27.07 /Hr.

Rotation Schedule Requirement

Schedule 48 hrs in each 6-week schedule period which include 16 hrs on weekends. Schedule 1 major summer and 1 major winter holiday per the needs of the schedule.
