Job summary

Midtown Assisted Living Residence is seeking a Nurse Assistant to provide compassionate care to residents in our Florida community. You will assist with daily activities, meals, hydration, and mobility, while supporting the nursing team to maintain safety and dignity.

This role emphasizes observation, accurate reporting, and respectful interaction. CNA certification is required, and one year of CNA experience is preferred to thrive in a collaborative, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification is required.
• At least 1 year of CNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including meals, mobility, hydration, and nourishment.
• Help residents with personal hygiene and grooming.
• Observe residents and report health issues to the supervising nurse.
• Document resident food and fluid intake.
• Assist with feeding and serving nutritional supplements.
• Make residents' beds and keep living areas clean and tidy.
• Transport residents within the facility.
• Assist nurses and other staff as needed.
• Adhere to professional standards and follow all facility policies and procedures.
• Abide by all federal, state, and local requirements and standards.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all residents and facility data.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including delivering meals, turning and ambulating residents, and providing plenty of fluids and nourishment throughout scheduled shifts

• Help residents with personal hygiene and grooming

• Observe residents and report any health issues to the supervising nurse

• Document resident food and fluid intake

• Assist with feeding and serving nutritional supplements

• Make residents' beds and keep their living areas clean and tidy

• Transport residents within the facility

• Assist nurses and other staff as needed
