Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health's Nurse Anesthesia Program seeks an Assistant Director for Didactic and Simulation Education in Fayetteville, NC. The role leads the didactic and simulation curriculum, coordinates courses, and enhances learner assessment to ensure alignment with COA standards.

You will oversee the simulation lab operations, develop interprofessional experiences, and mentor faculty while preparing students for SEE and NCE exams and guiding curriculum development with the program director.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree from an accredited institution (DNP/PhD/EdD).
• Current unencumbered RN and APRN licensure in NC.
• CRNA certification from NBCRNA.
• CHSE credential.
• ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Formal training in curriculum, instruction, and evaluation.
• Experience in simulation-based education.

Responsibilities

• Lead didactic and simulation curriculum across the program.
• Coordinate courses, syllabi, and faculty assignments.
• Oversee simulation lab operations and resources.
• Prepare candidates for SEE and NCE exams.
• Support accreditation readiness and COA reporting.
• Collaborate with Residency program and admissions.
