Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks a full-time CRNA education faculty to lead didactic and simulation-based instruction for nurse anesthesia students. You will guide scholarly projects, mentor students, and coordinate exams.

The role emphasizes collaboration with anesthesia and nurse practitioner faculty in a dynamic academic environment. Qualified candidates hold NC RN licensure, AANA certification, and CRNA licensure with Atrium Health, plus a Doctorate and at least 3 years of CRNA

Qualifications

• RN licensure in North Carolina required.
• AANA Council of Certification or Recertification required.
• Verification, recognition or licensure as a CRNA in North Carolina required.
• Credentialed as a CRNA in an Atrium Health facility required.
• Practice Doctorate of PhD required.
• Minimum of 3 years clinical CRNA experience required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as course lead faculty with course management and assessment.
• Design and implement simulation-based education for students.
• Guide student Scholarly Projects and conduct summative conferences.
• Mentor students in clinical areas and coordinate didactic schedules.
• Develop exams and advise on committees related to simulation education.
• Collaborate with nurse anesthesia and nurse practitioner faculty.

AANA CCR Certification/Recertification

CRNA credentialing in Atrium Health facility
