Job summary

Sinclair Community College is seeking part-time adjunct faculty for the Sinclair Nurse Aide Training Program. Courses are offered day, evening, and online at downtown Dayton, Courseview (Mason), and Centerville campuses.

The starting pay is $1,046 per credit hour taught. Benefits include tuition waiver, professional development support, STRS pension participation, and mentoring to help you transition into teaching. Health and transcripts required. Application review ongoing.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in health sciences or related field required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Three years direct patient care experience in long-term care required.
• Current LPN or RN active status required.
• Nurse Aide Train-the-Trainer program completed.

Responsibilities

• Adjunct faculty teach curriculum developed by the department.
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning.
• Prepare and provide syllabi for assigned sections per policies.
• Employ effective teaching strategies and use instructional technology.
