Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate's degree in the content area is required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Must be a licensed Health Care professional in the state of Ohio
• Evidence of successful prior teaching experience is preferred
• Demonstrated commitment to improving student learning through innovative strategies
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for diverse college community
• Proficiency with modern educational technology, including multimedia-based instruction

Responsibilities

• Adjunct faculty teach curriculum developed by the department
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning
• Prepare syllabi for all assigned sections per policies
• Employ teaching strategies and instructional technology as appropriate
• Modify methods to meet diverse students’ needs
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and deadlines
