Qualifications

• Associate degree in surgical technology required; related bachelor’s or master’s preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience in the field.
• Current CST, CSFA, or CST/CSFA certification required.
• Evidence of successful prior teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach curriculum developed by the department.
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning.
• Prepare and provide syllabi for all assigned sections per policies.
• Employ appropriate teaching strategies and use instructional technology.
• Modify instructional methods to meet diverse student needs.
• Support classroom and online efforts to promote student success.
• Evaluate and return student work in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress.
• Submit final grade rosters by deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Adjunct Faculty cannot teach more than 12 credit hours per semester.
