Diversicare is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant trainee to work as part of our compassionate care team. You will support direct resident care, assist with daily activities, and participate in classroom and on-the-job training to develop essential skills.

Successful candidates will demonstrate a genuine interest in helping the elderly, strong communication, and the ability to follow treatment plans while upholding HIPAA protections and safety standards.

Formación

• Willingness to learn and a passion for caring for residents and patients.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is a plus.
• Able to communicate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents/patients, families, and team members.
• Positive attitude about working with long-term care residents/patients and the elderly.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Basic computer knowledge with aptitude to learn company applications.

Responsabilidades

• Assist current CNA in providing direct care to residents/patients per treatment plans.
• Assist with daily care needs including oral hygiene, bathing, dressing, and room cleanliness.
• Complete assignments from instructors and participate in hands-on learning activities.
• Attend classroom activities, orientation programs and on-the-job trainings.
• Provide safe bedside care delivered with integrity and compassion.
• Communicate effectively with patients and nursing staff to ensure quality care.
