Job summary

Diversicare Healthcare Services, LLC is seeking individuals to train as Certified Nursing Assistants. You will help with direct resident care under supervision, learn care procedures, and complete required classroom and hands-on training. This role emphasizes compassion, teamwork and safety in a post-acute setting.

You will study for the state CNA exam, gain practical experience, and join a supportive team dedicated to Improving every life we touch by providing exceptional healthcare.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and care for residents.
• Ability to communicate positively with residents, families and staff.
• English reading/writing/speaking required.
• Basic computer knowledge and aptitude to learn company applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct care to residents/patients as directed by instructors.
• Support basic needs (oral hygiene, bathing, dressing, room cleanliness).
• Complete assignments and participate in classroom and on-the-job trainings.
• Attend orientation and training sessions.
• Provide safe, compassionate bedside care and communicate with the nursing team.
• Assist residents to activities and accompany to events as needed.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely.
• Build rapport with patients, families and team members.
• Comply with HIPAA and protect health information.
• Study and take the state administered CNA exam.
