Colonial Group in Southbridge, MA seeks a per diem Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse for an outpatient treatment program. You will administer medications, maintain accurate medication counts, and educate clients on MAT therapy while coordinating with physicians.

The role requires CPR certification or timely renewal, strong communication, and the ability to work within a diverse interdisciplinary team in an outpatient setting.

Qualificações

• Must be a Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
• Must have a current CPR certificate or obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in problem solving and emergencies.
• Clear written and spoken communication in a diverse setting with clients and staff.
• Experience in substance abuse/mental health or acute care inpatient healthcare preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Administering medication to clients per policy.
• Control, count and document onsite medication accurately.
• Educate clients on use, purpose, and side effects of MAT medications.
• Verify medication orders with physicians and transcribe orders.
• Assist in admission and document substance use diagnoses as required.

Qualifications

• Must be a Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
• Must have a current CPR certificate or obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must display the use of appropriate independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies.
• Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting with clients, families, staff and regulatory agencies.
• Experience in substance abuse/mental health field or an acute care inpatient healthcare environment preferred.

Outpatient Nurse is responsible for:

• Administering medication to clients as outlined in medication administration policy.
• The control, counting and appropriate documentation of onsite medication.
• Educating clients on use, purpose, side effects, and other information relating to medication-assisted treatment.
• Verifying medication orders with the physician and transcribes physician's orders.
• Assisting in the admission process and documents substance use diagnosis as required.
