Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems in Worcester, MA seeks an Outpatient Nurse to join the Lincoln Street Outpatient Treatment Program. The role is full-time, days, with a pay rate of $33/hr for LPN and $36/hr for RN.

You will administer medications, document medication administration, educate clients about MAT and verify orders with physicians. Requirements include MA LPN or RN license, CPR certification within 90 days, strong communication, and the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR certificate or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to use independent judgment in emergencies.
• Effective written and oral communication in a diverse setting.
• Experience in substance abuse/mental health or acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Control, counting and appropriate documentation of onsite medication.
• Educating clients on use, purpose, side effects, and other information relating to medication assisted treatment.
