Job summary

Old Colony Correctional Center is seeking a qualified nurse to administer medications for inmates enrolled in the MAT program. You will triage patients referred to addiction treatment and ensure accurate medication handling in accordance with regulatory standards.

The role requires an MA nursing license (LPN/RN) and CPR/BLS certification, with prior substance abuse or mental health experience preferred. Inpatient background and DOC experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience in substance use or mental health settings preferred.
• Inpatient healthcare experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to incarcerated patients in the MAT program.
• Triage patients referred to treatment for OUD/Alcohol Use Disorder.
• Count and administer medications in accordance with state and federal standards.
