Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. in Bridgewater, MA is seeking a Nurse to administer medications to incarcerated patients enrolled in the MAT program at Old Colony Correctional Center. The role requires MA nursing licensure (LPN or RN) and current CPR/BLS certification, with DOC experience preferred.

Schedule is 40 hours per week, 5:00am-1:00pm, every other weekend. The Nurse will triage patients, count and administer medications per state and federal standards, and support addiction treatment

Qualifications

• Valid MA nursing license from accredited school required (LPN or RN).
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience in substance abuse/mental health or acute care inpatient settings preferred.
• DOC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to incarcerated patients in MAT program.
• Triaging patients referred to treatment for Opioid Use and/or Alcohol Use Disorder.
• Control, counting and administer medications in accordance with state and federal standards and regulation.

Pay rate: $38.00-$42.00/hour. $10/hour shift differential on the weekend

The Nurse is responsible for:

• Administering medication to incarcerated patients who are enrolled in the Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT) Program
• Triaging patients referred to treatment for Opioid Use and/or Alcohol Use Disorder
• Control, counting and administer medication in accordance with state and federal standards and regulation.

Qualifications:
