General Dynamics Electric Boat is seeking an Electrical Technician within Nuclear Test Operations to support all shifts. Responsibilities include electrical testing of nuclear components, alignment checks of Nuclear Instrumentation and Detectors, and maintaining safety via tagging out energized equipment as required.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED or 2+ years related technical experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, electronics, or electrical assembly, installation and repair.
• Willing to be available for all shifts per union agreement.

Responsabilidades

• Perform electrical testing of nuclear components according to test procedures.
• Perform alignment and alignment checks of Nuclear Instrumentation and Detectors.
• Ensure safety tagging out, isolation, and de-energizing to allow safe work by other trades.
• Read electrical system diagrams, blueprints and schematics; troubleshoot per Test Engineer/Shift Test Engineer docs.
