Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 2+ years related technical experience.
• 2+ years related mechanical or naval experience.
• Availability for any shift per union agreement.
• Technical school diploma preferred.
• Previous U.S. Navy or Nuclear Test Operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical testing of nuclear components per test procedures.
• Conduct mechanical alignment and alignment checks for both primary and secondary side detectors.
• Tag out, isolate, and de-pressurize systems as Safety Technician to enable safe work.
• Read and interpret mechanical system diagrams, blueprints, schematics and Test Equipment Drawings.
• Meet requirements of EB Safety Manual and other technical manuals; qualify as Contamination Worker.
