Job summary

Kiewit Nuclear Solutions is seeking a professional structural engineer with dedication to renewable energy to join our growing team in Lenexa, KS and other locations. Lead design, analysis, and documentation for nuclear and industrial projects while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

Requirements include a BS in Structural/Civil Engineering, PE in at least one state, and 5–10 years’ design experience in related sectors. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (Master’s is an asset).
• PE registration in at least one state.
• 5–10 years of structural engineering design experience in nuclear, conventional power or industrial buildings.

Responsibilities

• Perform as individual contributor with minimum supervision.
• Conduct static and dynamic analyses using ANSYS APDL, SAP2000, GT Strudl, Staad Pro, LS-Dyna or similar.
• Design buildings, foundations, equipment platforms, pipe racks and related structures.
