Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join our Nuclear Design Group. You will analyze, design, and evaluate critical structures and components, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Required: a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering, 3+ years of design experience with concrete and steel, and experience in power generation, nuclear, or DOE-related projects. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with design of structural systems including concrete and steel.
• Experience in power generation, nuclear power or government (DOE) projects.
• Good writing, presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across disciplines with professionals from various engineering fields.
• Lead design initiatives and craft project scopes and engineering estimates.
• Innovate solutions and tackle complex technical challenges.
• Engage in field operations, travel, site walkdowns, and start-ups.
• Inspire teams and communicate findings to project teams, clients and stakeholders.
