ENERCON is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join our Nuclear Design Group. You will analyze, design, and evaluate critical structures, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with design of structural systems including concrete and steel.
• Must have experience in power generation, nuclear power or government (DOE) projects directly or with an engineering/design consulting firm.
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work seamlessly with professionals from various engineering fields, ensuring smooth coordination and integration of designs
• Lead Design Initiatives: Develop innovative design studies, craft comprehensive project scopes, and produce accurate engineering estimates
• Innovate Solutions: Tackle complex technical challenges with fresh ideas and creative problem-solving strategies
• Engage in Field Operations: Travel, site walkdowns, oversee field installations, and support system start-ups
• Inspire Teams: Lead by example, motivating teams to achieve ambitious goals with a positive, results-driven attitude and effective leadership
