Enercon Services, Inc. in Baton Rouge, LA, is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to join our Nuclear Design Group.

The role involves design, analysis, and evaluation of critical structures for safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance, with opportunities to advance through mid-level, senior, or principal roles. You will prepare technical reports, calculations, and specifications, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and occasionally travel to client sites to oversee field

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
Minimum of 3 years of experience with design of structural systems including concrete and steel.
Experience in power generation, nuclear power, heavy industrial, manufacturing, or government projects (DOE) with engineering/design firms.
Good writing, presentation and communication skills.
Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
Proficiency in Word and Excel.
US Citizenship required due to Federal Contract.
Approximately 10% travel.

Responsibilities

Collaborate across disciplines with engineers from various fields to ensure integrated designs.
Lead design initiatives by developing project scopes and engineering estimates.
Innovate solutions to tackle complex technical challenges.
Engage in field operations, travel to sites, oversee field installations, and support system start-ups.
Inspire teams through leadership and collaborative problem solving.
