Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join its Nuclear Design Group. You will analyze, design, and evaluate critical structures, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil/Structural Engineering, 3+ years' experience in concrete/steel design, and US citizenship. Some travel; roles may be remote in some states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with design of structural systems including concrete and steel.
• Experience in power generation, nuclear power, heavy industrial, manufacturing, or government (DOE) projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• US Citizenship required due to federal contracts.
• Approximate travel ~10%.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, design, and evaluate critical structures and components for safety, reliability, and performance.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and specifications; communicate findings to project teams and clients.
• Lead design initiatives and produce accurate engineering estimates.
• Travel to field sites for inspections, walkdowns, and start-ups as needed.
