Job summary

ENERCON is hiring a Structural Design Engineer in Glendale, AZ to join our Nuclear Design Group. You will perform design and analysis of civil/structural systems for nuclear facilities, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

As a mid- to senior-level engineer, you will lead design initiatives, collaborate across disciplines, participate in field activities when needed, and mentor junior staff. Some roles may be performed remotely in the U.S.; strong communication and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with design of structural systems including concrete and steel.
• Experience in power generation, nuclear power or government (DOE) projects.
• Good writing, presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• U.S. Citizenship required due to Federal Contract Requirements.
