Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join our Nuclear Design Group in California. You will contribute to analysis, design, and evaluation of critical structures, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include leading design studies, producing calculations and specifications, and mentoring colleagues. Occasional travel to field sites is expected; US citizenship is required for federal projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 3 years of experience designing structural systems (concrete/steel).
• Experience in power generation, nuclear power or DOE projects.
• Strong writing, presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across disciplines to integrate designs.
• Lead design initiatives, craft project scopes, and produce estimates.
• Develop innovative design solutions for complex challenges.
