Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join our Nuclear Design Group. The role offers a path from mid-level to principal engineer, with opportunities to lead and mentor others while advancing through diverse civil structural projects.

We value experience in concrete and steel design, strong writing and communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and within teams. Some roles may be performed remotely within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with design of structural systems including concrete and steel.
• Experience in power generation, nuclear power or government (DOE) projects.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• US Citizenship due to Federal Contract Requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and evaluate critical structures and components for safety and performance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and specifications for project teams and clients.
• Travel to site walkdowns, supervise field installations, and support system start-ups.
