Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. in the Chicago area is seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join our Nuclear Design Group. You will analyze, design, and evaluate critical structures, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include leading design initiatives, developing project scopes, evaluating modifications, and communicating findings to clients and project teams. This role offers opportunities for growth and field travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing structural systems including concrete and steel.
• Experience with power generation, nuclear power, or government (DOE) projects.
• Strong written, presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to contribute individually and work well in teams.
• US Citizenship is required due to Federal Contract Requirements.
