Job summary

Talen Energy is seeking a Work Week Manager to coordinate the weekly schedule at the Susquehanna Station near Berwick, PA. On-site role requiring safe, effective planning of surveillance, preventive and corrective maintenance, and related activities six weeks prior to implementation.

The role emphasizes risk management, coordination among station and corporate groups, and accountability for the week’s scope, safety, and performance targets.

Qualifications

• BS/BE or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years commercial nuclear experience.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and unescorted access to SSES.
• Basic knowledge of nuclear plant operations and related processes.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and schedules.
• Experience with work management and risk assessment processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, release, and orchestrate the weekly work schedule.
• Identify and assess clearance requirements and post-maintenance testing.
• Provide daily leadership among multiple station and corporate groups.
• Balance risk, plant availability, and radiation exposure in scheduling.
• Lead and communicate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and other teams.
• Manage System Outage Windows (SOWs) and VLCOs as assigned.
• Perform on-line risk assessments and update weekly schedules.
• Act as Evolution Coordinator and ensure safety and compliance.
