Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a nuclear power plant maintenance environment.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities with minimal supervision.
• Ability to provide maintenance supervision outside normal hours when on-call.
• Ability to qualify and fulfill Emergency Response Organization duties with 1-hour response time.

Responsibilities

• Lay out and implement strategies to complete work on schedule.
• Direct and supervise work in plant, labs, and shops by maintenance personnel.
• Help crew members develop job skills and perform certifications.
• Answer technical work questions to the crew.
• Develop troubleshooting plans and direct plant equipment troubleshooting.
• Enforce departmental and organizational goals and expectations.
• Provide feedback for cost-effective work methods.
• Motivate the crew and maintain a positive attitude.
• Maintain qualifications to lead in Nuclear Emergency Response.
• Validate job readiness and coordinate rescheduling if needed.
• Monitor training and qualifications of direct reports.
• Serve as training coordinator with training partners for plans.
