Y-12 National Security Complex is seeking a MFG Commissioning Support Team Member in Oak Ridge, TN. The role provides technical oversight to ensure DOE Order 425.1 compliance and works with multi-disciplinary teams across production, safety and maintenance to support startup readiness.

The position emphasizes management interface, floor-level guidance, and participation in special project teams to drive performance improvements and ensure safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• PhD awarded or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight to ensure compliance with DOE Order 425.1 during startups.
• Lead cross-discipline teams including production, operations, safety and technical professionals.
• Interface with management to ensure timely, effective, and efficient readiness initiatives.
• Maintain floor-level presence to guide development and performance improvement.
• Represent Commissioning Support on special project teams and obtain buy-in on execution plans.
• Apply project management tools to ensure timely, effective, and efficient execution of initiatives.
