Job summary

Holtec is seeking a Nuclear Island Project Engineer II - SMR-300 to lead engineering delivery for the SMR-300 Project. This technical lead role coordinates work scopes and develops complete work packages, supporting cost, schedule, interfaces, and timely delivery from scope definition through turnover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 4–8 years of progressive engineering/project coordination experience in nuclear or heavy industrial settings.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering, planning, procurement, and construction interfaces.
• Ability to work within formal project procedures, quality programs, and disciplined documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate assigned engineering scopes, manage technical interfaces, support procurement and field execution, and report performance against scope, cost, schedule, quality, and safety expectations.
• Develop and coordinate engineering work packages including scope, deliverables, estimates, WBS inputs, and kickoff materials.
• Manage technical interfaces among engineering, project management, planning, procurement, construction, operations, maintenance, vendors, and client stakeholders.
• Monitor scope, cost, schedule, quality, safety, procurement, and delivery; identify issues, risks, and required decisions.
• Prepare dashboards, status reports, risk registers, and change logs for assigned work orders or project areas.
