Job summary

Holtec International in Camden, NJ is seeking a Project Engineering Manager to lead engineering execution for SMR-300 project scopes, ensuring complete work packages, managing interfaces, and supporting procurement and construction activities. The role partners with engineering, procurement, construction, operations, maintenance, project leadership, and client stakeholders through the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Nuclear, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, or related) required.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive engineering/project experience in nuclear, power, EPC, or heavy industrial sectors.
• Experience managing engineering work scopes from proposal through turnover.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, scheduling, cost management, risk management, change control, WBS, and reporting.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• PE or PMP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of project work packages with scope, deliverables, estimates, WBS, baseline schedules, and kickoff documentation.
• Manage engineering execution within budgets, schedules, quality, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate interfaces among engineering, operations, maintenance, procurement, construction, and client teams.
• Own technical bid evaluations and prepare evaluation reports.
• Develop and maintain project schedules with project controls and planning teams.
• Prepare dashboards, action trackers, risk logs, change logs, and status reports.
• Lead kickoff meetings and ensure alignment with scope, budget, and procedures.
• Support safety reviews, design reviews, constructability reviews, and procurement reviews.
• Resolve field engineering issues and site readiness concerns.
