Job summary

Holtec International seeks a Systems Design Engineer II to join the SMR-300 program in Camden, NJ. Qualifications

• BS in an engineering discipline with 4–6 years of post-graduation experience.
• Experience independently executing moderately complex system design, analysis, or integration tasks.
• Experience developing engineering calculations, design documentation, and design bases.
• Experience coordinating interfaces across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Independently design, develop, and integrate assigned plant systems for SMR-300.
• Perform evaluations, calculations, and analyses for thermal-hydraulic, mechanical, and process design.
• Develop and maintain system design documentation and design bases.
• Manage system requirements and resolve related issues within scope.
• Coordinate with multi-discipline engineers to resolve cross-disciplinary design issues.
• Lead equipment specification and technical evaluation within assigned systems.
• Prepare and review drawings, vendor docs, and design deliverables.
• Identify and resolve moderately complex technical issues through analysis and coordination.
