Westinghouse Electric Company seeks a LEU+ Safety Liaison in Columbia, SC to support health and safety programs for construction and highly regulated environments. Responsibilities include OSHA compliance, site inspections, hazard assessments, incident investigations, and environmental permitting support.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in OH&S or related field, 5+ years in EH&S, OSHA 30, and 3+ years in nuclear or regulated settings.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in construction safety or EH&S environments.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and hazard recognition.
• Familiarity with environmental compliance and permitting processes.
• OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain).
• Experience in nuclear or highly regulated environments (3+ years).
• Experience working with subcontractors in construction settings (3+ years).
• Background in mechanical, piping, HVAC, or fabrication.

Responsabilidades

• Support compliance with OSHA and project safety requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and daily walkdowns.
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Communicate safety concerns and support continuous improvement.
• Maintain safety records and documentation.
• Support environmental compliance and permitting processes.
• Assist with spill prevention and environmental risk assessments.
