Job summary
Naval Nuclear Laboratory seeks an Environmental, Safety & Health Compliance Engineer to oversee and support environmental, safety and health programs at NPTU Charleston. You will guide ESH activities, ensure regulatory adherence, and drive safety culture across Navy and NNL operations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor/Master/Doctorate in a related technical, engineering or science field with required experience.
- Experience with OSHA and NR OSH standards and federal environmental regulations preferred.
- Qualify as a radiation worker or ability to obtain qualification.
- Experience engaging with NR Program personnel and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide environmental, safety and health oversight for Navy and NNL organizations at NPTU Charleston.
- Develop and enforce ESH requirements and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead investigations of safety events and support training and drills.
- Collaborate with Navy, Naval Reactors and Joint Base Lindsey Graham safety/environment personnel.
