Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in construction safety or EH&S field environments.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and hazard recognition.
  • Familiarity with environmental compliance and permitting processes.
  • OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain).
  • 3+ years of experience in nuclear or highly regulated environments.
  • 3+ years of experience working with subcontractors in construction settings.

Responsibilities

  • Support compliance with project safety requirements, OSHA, and applicable standards.
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and daily walkdowns to identify hazards.
  • Participate in hazard assessments and verify work controls.
  • Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
  • Communicate safety concerns and support continuous improvement.
  • Strengthen proper PPE use and safe work practices.
  • Maintain safety records and documentation.
  • Support safety meetings, orientations, and field coaching.
  • Support environmental compliance, including waste management and stormwater (SWPPP).
  • Perform field walkdowns to identify environmental risks.
  • Help with inspections, documentation, and corrective actions.
  • Support spill prevention, response, and reporting.
  • Maintain environmental records for audits and compliance.
  • Support permit tracking, compliance, and documentation.
  • Help with regulatory inspections and agency coordination.
  • Communicate permit requirements and identify potential risks.

Key Responsibilities:
Health & Safety
