Qualifications

  • Accredited four-year degree and eight years of related experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients and other stakeholders.
  • Nuclear construction experience required; DOE/NNSA experience preferred.
  • Continuing education to stay current with industry regulations and practices.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and train subordinates on HSE activities on TIC projects, including budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and documentation.
  • Provide guidance to business lines through interpretation of HSE practices and regulations.
  • Make independent decisions on engineering/scientific HSE problems using advanced techniques.
  • Develop and supervise HSE programs and site-based orientation and recognition.
  • Run gap analyses to identify program gaps and ensure regulatory conformance.
  • Adhere to Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies.
