ITResource Hunter in El Segundo, CA is seeking an Engineering Manager - Regulatory Systems to lead the authorization process for reactor deployment with military partners. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 5 years experience in a regulated industry, preferably nuclear programs regulated by NRC or DOE.
  • Experience interfacing with regulators and implementing regulatory requirements; ability to write technical documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer relationships, coordinating interactions and meetings, tracking deliverables, submission and acceptance, and contract compliance.
  • Own end-to-end licensing execution for an application, from safety analysis to physical protection plan.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and regulators to drive project execution and authorization.
  • Oversee execution by technical teams, organize inputs into data products and reports, raise regulatory concerns and resolve them.
  • Review approaches to regulatory efforts to ensure adherence to licensing paths.
