Job summary

Radiant, headquartered in El Segundo, is seeking an experienced Regulatory Program Manager to lead licensing and authorization efforts for nuclear reactor deployments. You will coordinate with regulators, engineers, and partners to deliver compliant submissions and drive timely approvals.

The role requires strong regulatory experience, exceptional communication, and the ability to mentor junior staff while working 100% onsite at El Segundo HQ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• 5 years of experience in a regulated industry, preferably nuclear.
• Experience interfacing with regulators and implementing regulatory requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the authorization process for reactor deployment with military partners.
• Own end-to-end licensing execution from detailed safety analyses to the physical protection plan.
• Coordinate with regulators and engineering teams to obtain clarity and timely regulatory responses.
• Mentor junior team members and oversee regulatory activities across the program.
• Ensure adherence to Radiant’s licensing paths and drive efficient project execution.
